Pastor Paul Rech
Pastor, Chaplain, Coach, and Researcher in Circadian Intelligence
Pastor Paul Rech is a passionate Pastor, Chaplain, Coach, and the Director of Virtual Net Radio, bringing over 50 years of ministry experience to his coaching and leadership. As a presidential member of the American Association of Christian Counselors since 2011, he has long recognized how deeply a person’s temperament, personality, and internal rhythms shape their mental, emotional, and spiritual well‑being.
Over the years, Pastor Paul has expanded his work by integrating Circadian Intelligence, the study of how biological rhythms influence energy, mood, focus, and resilience, into his pastoral care and coaching. His research and practical experience in this field have allowed him to help individuals and leaders understand how aligning their daily rhythms with God‑designed biological patterns can dramatically improve mental health, reduce burnout, and restore emotional balance. This unique approach has become a cornerstone of his ministry to pastors, chaplains, and Christian leaders seeking sustainable, healthy rhythms of life and service.
With a background as the Global President of the International Chaplains Association, and years of service as a Chaplain with the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol) in New Jersey and Florida, Pastor Paul brings a wealth of experience in guiding people through emotional, spiritual, and mental health challenges. His leadership has shaped chaplains across multiple contexts, equipping them to serve with compassion, clarity, and resilience.
Currently serving as the Assistant Pastor at New Hope Brazilian Baptist Church, Pastor Paul remains deeply committed to providing spiritual support and guidance to his community. His ministry extends beyond the pulpit as he mentors and coaches chaplains and church leadres, helping them grow in emotional intelligence, spiritual maturity, and practical ministry skills.
In his coaching, Pastor Paul blends biblical principles, mental health strategies, temperament theory, and Circadian Intelligence to offer a holistic, personalized approach to well‑being. Using insights from the Four Temperaments model, he helps individuals understand how their God‑given design interacts with their biological rhythms:
• Sanguines who thrive on connection learn how to manage energy cycles to avoid emotional fatigue.
• Cholerics who are driven and goal‑oriented discover how to balance productivity with restorative rhythms.
• Melancholics who think deeply gain tools to regulate mood and prevent overextension.
• Phlegmatics who value peace learn how to maintain stability while building healthy momentum.
This integrated framework allows Pastor Paul to offer deeply personalized support, helping individuals understand themselves more fully and navigate mental health challenges with wisdom, grace, and practical tools. His work empowers people to live in alignment with both Scripture and the natural rhythms God built into the human body, leading to greater clarity, resilience, and spiritual vitality.
